“My epoch in football finished with Zidane, Ronaldo, Raul and when Henry betrayed Arsenal” – says my closest friend, who was the greatest fan of Real Madrid and Arsenal ever. Today I replaced her on this uneasy business to be football fan, though I support different teams, except Arsenal, I am the only link between her and this beautiful world of European football. However this is not the main idea of this entry. Despite the fact that such SUPERSTARS as Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Maldini, Figo, Julio Baptista, already quit playing or on their way to do so, contemporary soccer lost a lot, but at the same time it gets much more! As it is said, new generation always surpass previous. About this New Generation of young great and talented players I’d love to write today.
Last year winner of Golden Ball, Best Halfback of Champions League, Best Football player FIFA, Best Player in Italia and lots of other awards, 26 year old Brazilian Rickardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite or simply KAKA – number 22 halfback of AC Milan (and by the way, my favorite player, after Zidane!) starts this list of young and talented.

Last year Silver Ball and Bronze Ball winners 23 year old Argentinean Lionel Messi (FC Barselona) and 22 year old Portugal Christiano Ronaldo (Manchester United). These guys aren’t even 25, but already receive such significant awards! By the way, Last year winners are the youngest winners in the history ever! This year C. Ronaldo has won English Premier League and Champions League – European most prestigious competitions and I believe that he will win Golden Ball 2008 in December.
Cesc Fabregas – 21 year old Spanish halfback of FC Arsenal. Cesc was the 8 in the list of pretendents on Golden Ball 2007 when he was only 20. This year he won EURO 2008 with Spain, and just recently is claimed as Capitan of FC Arsenal!
There are lots of young players, today they are only 17-19 year teenagers, who’s gonna be the world’s greatest in two-three years. These are my own top 5: Theo Walcott (England; FC Arsenal), Alexandre Pato(Brazil; AC Milan), Eduardo da Silva (Croatia; FС Arsenal), Nani (Portugal; Manchester United), Rafael da Silva (Brazil; Manchester United).
Here is the list provided by World Soccer: Sadick Adams (Atletico Madrid) Ismail Aissati (PSV Eindhoven) Alexandre Pato (Milan) Anderson (Manchester United) Sergio Aguero (Atletico Madrid) Gareth Bale (Tottenham) Ever Banega (Boca Juniors) Karim Benzema (Lione) Bojan Krkic (Barcellona) Breno (San Paolo) Gerardo Bruna (Liverpool) Diego Bounanotte (River Plate) Macauley Chrisantus (Amburgo) Dumitru Copil (Hearts) Lorenzo De Silvestri (Lazio) Angel Di Maria (Benfica) Franco Di Santo (Audax) Kermit Erasmus (Sundown) Fabio (Fluminense) Fabio Coentrao (Benfica) Maquane Fellaini (Standard Liegi) Guilherme (Cruzeiro) Nour Hadhria (Club African) Rabul Ibrahim (Sporting Lisbona) Damian Ismodes (S. Cristal) Kerlon (Cruzeiro) Toni Kroos (Bayern Monaco) Lulinha (Corinthians) Sapol Mani (Maranatha) Juan Manuel Mata (Valencia) Cristian Nazarith (Cali) Aaron Niguez (Valencia) Daniel Opare (Ashanti) Ransford Osei (Kesseben) Fran Merida (Arsenal) Nikolay Mihailov (Liverpool) Mesut Ozil (Schalke) Renato Augusto (Flamengo) Micah Richards (Manchester City) Andrea Russotto (Treviso) Henri Saivet (Bordeaux) Alexis Sanchez (River Plate) Giovani Dos Santos (Barcellona) Marek Suchy (Slavia Praga) Sergio Tejera (Chelsea) Ivan Rakitic (Schalke) Abdou Traore (Rosenborg) Gregory Van der Wiel (Ajax) Carlos Vela (Osasuna) Theo Walcott (Arsenal).

Well, list is huge!!! I know that we will never see the football player like ZINEDINE ZIDANE, but I believe that we will see the Better One!
